Robert (Bob) Dobias

Biodiversity and Climate Change Specialist

Robert (Bob) Dobias holds a First Degree in Biology and Wildlife Management and has extensive experience in biodiversity and climate change. Since 2016, he has served as an Advisor at the Climate Change Center of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

He has worked as a Biodiversity Specialist and Senior Consultant for projects supported by USAID and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and led adaptation funds and capacity building initiatives under ADAPT Asia. He spent 17 years at ADB as Senior Advisor and Head of the Climate Change Coordination Unit. Earlier in his career, he worked with Sida, IUCN, the World Bank, and WWF.
