He is currently serving as a Coordinating Lead Author (CLA) of the IPCC\u2019s ongoing Special Report on Climate Change and Cities, and previously served as CLA in the IPCC\u2019s Fifth and Sixth Assessment Reports. His expertise includes cities and climate change, climate policies and net-zero transitions, climate finance, energy policy and modelling, and SDG trade-offs and synergies.<\/p>\n<p>    He provides scientific leadership in international scientific assessments, global change research communities, and science\u2013policy\u2013practice interfacing.
