Dr. Bindu Nath Lohani is a distinguished development professional with extensive leadership experience at the Asian Development Bank, where he served as Vice President for Knowledge Management and later as Vice President for Finance and Administration. His expertise spans infrastructure project development and financing across clean energy, transport, urban, and water sectors, with a strong focus on sustainable development, environmental protection, and climate change.

He currently serves as the Global Head of Climate Change Practices and holds several prominent international roles, including Distinguished Fellow at the Emerging Markets Forum (USA), Chairman of the Board of Clean Air Asia, and Board Director at UNESCO’s International Water Security and Sustainable Development initiative. He is also a founding board member of the Asian Water Council, a member of the Advisory Board of the Asia Pacific Center for Environmental Law, and a Distinguished Adjunct Faculty member and Trustee of the Asian Institute of Technology.
