Dr. Prajal Pradhan

Dr. Prajal Pradhan

Dr. Prajal Pradhan is an expert in sustainable development, climate change, and food systems. His research focuses on understanding the necessary conditions for long-term sustainability, including achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), advancing urban transformations, and strengthening climate resilience. He was a Lead Author of the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Land and a Contributing Author to the IPCC AR6 Working Group III and Working Group II Reports. He is a recipient of the ERC Starting Grant 2022 and also serves as a Visiting Scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany.
