Mr. Jonathan Lynn

Freelance Communication and Media Consultant

Mr. Jonathan Lynn is a freelance communication and media consultant with extensive experience in climate change communication. He served as Head of Communications and Media Relations at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) from November 2011 to November 2021, based in Geneva.

Prior to joining the IPCC, he worked for 32 years as a foreign correspondent and editor with the Reuters news agency, reporting from more than 30 countries worldwide. His professional career spans journalism, international communication, and media strategy in global policy contexts.
